Just on the 1st January we received a lot of snow. What was dark, became light, and even early evenings do not seem as sad. But still – it is very cold! So my craizy girl can’t stay long outside – her paws are not made for such cold, salty sidewalks!

The thing is that we, part of the EU, are having such an histeric ruls!
Society gets worse and worse. Today the biggest news portal tells, what is going to happen to those who take our their dogs without:
a) muzzles
b) passport
c) health book
d) registration documents
Can you believe this? I am taking my Brera out three times a day: how will her documents look like after a week??? Should I take an extra bag? This is a violation of an animal wrights.
First, we are not allowed to take our dogs out: they have to be transfered to a “legal” place by car. But what if in my district there are now such places made? Where do all my taxes go?…
I am not telling what I think about the faeces: it is forbidden to throw them into the public trashbins, cause it’s unhigienic, and I have to take it home and throw it into the toillet..
Today is a World animal day. “Pedigree” together with “Pifas” organized a nice event in Vilnius, where all animal lovers could come with their pets and spend some time together, have some sporty – agility tests and win prizes. Other visitors could take a look to a homeless cats and dogs – maybe there sad faces will convince and people will take them home?.. Sad, but there are so many homeless and unwanted dogs and cats…outbid from their homes, no longer needed. Sad, that we only once a year remember them…
I hope society gets better some day: responsibility for our surroundings will make us think.
Only one thing was strange to me: we all dog owners are critized for the faeces, but as I took Brera’s poo, in the whole area I couldn’t find any trashbin! I wish organizers would be more attentive next time so nobody could say any bad words of dogs’ faeces everywhere.
Finally. This brief web should have seen the daylight two or more years ago!
